Tivoli

After meeting your driver/guide or your driver and guide in the lobby of your hotel, you will enjoy a pleasant journey of about 40 minutes to the famous Villa Adriana, a Roman villa dating from the second century A.D. This is where the emperor Hadrian used to live, surrounded by philosophers, books, and entertainment. After visiting Villa Adriana, you will visit Villa D’Este. Get lost in the beauty of the Renaissance villa, also known as Tivoli Gardens, with its frescoes, fountains, and beautiful gardens including the famous "Rometta" made by Bernini. Having satisfied the hunger for knowledge, it is finally the time to conquer, if you like, another kind of hunger, and there's only one way to do it: sitting in a typical, local restaurant. You will admire the beauty of the famous temple of the Sibyl while sitting under the shade of a wisteria arbor and delighting your palate with some great food and wine.
Now it's time to start the journey back to the hotel, thinking about- and if you feel like it, discussing with your driver and / or guide- the memorable day that you have spent with the right combination of culture, fun, laughs and great food.
