After having met your driver in the lobby of your hotel, you will start the drive that will take you through the famous and beautiful Val D'Orcia (Orcia valley) with its vineyards, olive trees and ancient medieval little towns.
The first stop will be Montepulciano, a little town that became famous thanks to production of one of the best Tuscan wines, the Nobile of Montepulciano. Here you can take a nice walk through the typical alleys visiting the little churches and the castle where in the past the main family of the town used to live.
After taking the best pictures at the "belvedere", it s time to go to visit the "ideal city" of Pienza, famous in the past as residence in the 13th century of the pope Pius II and in the modern times thanks to the local "pecorino cheese", an Italian cheese made with "pecora" (sheep) cheese!
The driver will give you free time to wonder around and discover all the secrets of this charming town before going to the most famous town of the area, Montalcino, hometown of the famous red wine Brunello of Montalcino.
Here, if you like, you will be able to have lunch and a wine tasting in the beautiful ancient fortress of the town where afterwords, if you feel like, you can take a breathtaking walk along the fortress walls where you can have the whole view of the valley.
Satieted with culture, food and wine, you will start the drive back to Florence talking with your driver about the nice day you had or, why not, taking a nice "pisolino" (nap!)
